The idea behind the name
Chokro means cycle.
A bottle can leave your hand and disappear from view. Chokro is being built to give that handover a next step: collection, recycling and a record of the journey.
The name comes from the Bangla word for cycle or wheel. By connecting the people who return plastic, the sellers who offer rewards and the partners who recover it, we aim to give everyone a reason to keep the cycle turning.

This is the cycle we’re building for the Dhaka pilot. Bin locations, pickup areas and reward options will be confirmed as local operations are ready.

Can I use Chokro now?
Not yet. Chokro is Impact Sol’s first owned product and current product priority. The app launch is planned for late September 2026, with a focused Dhaka pilot rolling out from October. Bin placement, doorstep collections, seller onboarding and recycling arrangements follow the local rollout. Availability depends on final release checks and operations; verified app links will be published when ready. For Chokro enquiries, contact [email protected].
Are Chokro points cash?
Points are designed to be earned and used inside Chokro for discounts or contributions to environmental initiatives. They cannot be bought, transferred or withdrawn as cash. Reward options and terms will be confirmed as the pilot develops.
Can I take part beyond handing in plastic?
Chokro is also being developed for sharing eco stories: everyday actions such as choosing a refill, repairing something or joining a clean-up. The planned process includes reviewing submissions and asking for permission before sharing a story on Chokro’s public channels.
Is Chokro Impact Sol’s only product?
Chokro is our first owned product and our current development priority. We plan to build more products as Impact Sol grows, alongside our technology work with impact-driven clients.
