1. Scope and responsibility
This notice identifies Impact Sol as responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We collect only the information a visitor chooses to submit through an enquiry form, together with limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. We use that information to receive, assess, route and respond to the enquiry, maintain correspondence, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal duties. Netlify hosts the website and stores form submissions. Where email notifications are enabled, the configured email provider also processes the notification; processing may occur outside Bangladesh. Enquiry records are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact, unless an active relationship, legal requirement, dispute or security matter requires longer retention. Visitors may ask to access, correct or delete their information, object to processing or withdraw consent through the published contact route. This notice is prepared with reference to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026.
This notice applies to the public pages and the general, partnership, and maker or initiative enquiry forms. Impact Sol, a Bangladesh-based business operating under a DNCC trade licence, decides why and how enquiry information is processed.

2. Information the website may collect
Information you submit
All three enquiry forms require your name, email address, message and consent to the processing described here. The general form also requires an enquiry category; an organisation name is optional.
The partnership form requires your organisation, country or region, role or organisation type, and proposed collaboration. The maker or initiative form requires your business or initiative name, country or region, type of work, current stage, and primary challenge or support sought. Phone numbers and website or public-profile links are optional on these two forms.
Each submission also records the enquiry type, the page it was sent from, your consent response and the version of this privacy notice shown with the form.
Do not submit passwords, payment information, health details, identity documents, confidential business material or other sensitive information through these enquiry forms.
Technical and anti-abuse information
Netlify may process limited request information needed to deliver the site, filter spam, diagnose failures and protect the forms. This can include timestamps, request headers, browser or device information and network information. Impact Sol does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through these forms.
3. How information is used and the legal basis
Enquiry information is used only to:
- receive, review and respond to the message you send;
- route a partnership or maker enquiry to an appropriate person;
- maintain the security and reliability of the enquiry service;
- keep a limited record of correspondence where reasonably needed; and
- meet legal obligations that apply to the confirmed operator.
The primary basis is the clear, withdrawable consent requested before a form is sent. Where applicable, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before an agreement, maintain security, establish or defend a legal right, or comply with law. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Submitting an enquiry does not permit unrelated advertising, sale of contact details or addition to a mailing list. Any future newsletter or research programme will require a separate explanation and choice.
5. Retention and security
Enquiry records are normally deleted within 12 months after the last substantive contact. A record may be kept longer where an active relationship, legal duty, dispute, fraud concern or security investigation reasonably requires it. Provider-controlled security logs and legally required processing records may follow different periods.
Impact Sol uses encrypted transport, form validation, spam filtering, a hidden spam trap and restricted dashboard access. Access should use multi-factor authentication and least privilege. No internet service can promise absolute security. A material personal-data breach will be assessed and reported as required by applicable law.
6. Your choices and rights
You can choose not to submit a form. Subject to applicable law, you may ask for information about processing, access a copy, correct or complete inaccurate information, withdraw consent, object, request deletion, or complain to Bangladesh’s National Data Management Authority or another competent authority.
Send a request to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge it within six hours. We will respond within the period required by law. We may request proportionate information to locate the record and verify the requester; do not send unnecessary identity documents. Some requests may be limited where retention or disclosure is legally required or another person’s rights would be affected.
8. Children
These enquiry forms are intended for people aged 18 or older. A person under 18 should not submit personal information without a parent’s or legal guardian’s involvement and valid consent. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so it can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.
9. Changes to this notice
The reviewed date will change when this notice is materially updated. Important changes should be explained clearly, and additional notice or consent should be sought if required by applicable law.
